Angling Times (UK)

WELCOME

-

WHAT an action-packed issue of Angling Times this is - we’ve got so many great features inside this week I don’t know where to start! Perhaps the one which stands out the most is the one which you can see on the front page and our page 4&5 story – the massive catch of big bream taken by Mark Perkins from the famous Attenborough Gravels in Nottingham.

Eleven double figure specimens – with the biggest going over 13lb - in a catch of 15 fish is pretty impressive in anyone’s book, and they all fell to simple feeder tactics on the Notts AA club water.

If float fishing is your thing then you’ve got to read Steve Ringer’s latest column where he reveals a little edge on the pellet waggler which will definitely catch you more fish right now.

Handily, you will have already found the perfect float for the job with this issue too!

This week we also have the proof that catching lots of fish is good for your health as we wire up a top match angler to find out how many calories he could burn while bagging up. Thankfully the results show that you can safely tuck away a full English brekkie if you get your tactics right. Extra bacon for me this Sunday morning then… STEVE FITZPATRICK EDITOR-IN-CHIEF
