ANOTHER good attendance for a Partridge big match saw local rod Dave Brown Junior into the final as the Poplars AC angler top-scored narrowly with 149-3-0.
Drawing peg 86 on Canal 4, Dave took a net of F1s plus the odd carp by fishing caster shallow at 6m.
Lee Bennett missed out by just a couple of fish with 145-15-0 off peg 9 on the Marsh Canal. Caster shallow
down the middle again did the damage.
