John Sidley rig fools 4lb 14oz gravel pit eel

BIG eels are notoriously tough to catch, but this 4lb 14oz specimen proved to be no match for Kevin Durman.

Fishing a Medway Valley Gravel pit, the Korum consultant from Kent fished a John Sidley rig with a lobworm hookbait to fool the fish.

Other eels to 3lb also fell to his tactics which saw him introduce two pints of dead maggots with the help of a Spomb.
