BRIAN NEWTON MEMORIAL IS VOTED A SUCCESS
THE Brian Newton Memorial Cup was set up in memory of a well-loved carer who helped disabled and injured adults live life to the full.
Teams from Health Works Newcastle, Momentum North East, Momentum Skills and Angling4All took part in the first match at Leazes Park Lake in Newcastle city centre and everybody caught fish.
The day was supported by our Regional Officer Dave Munt and the fishing was funded by a Small Grants award – all our Regional Officers have experience at finding this kind of financial backing.
