River Thames, Medley (19 pegs)
The blustery wind made presentation tricky, but Carl Eland eventually worked out a winning tactic that assisted him to the tune of 24-14-0. Long pole and chopped worm helped him find three bream from the fallen tree peg at the top end of the Poplars. Waggler and tares ensured he added 15lb of quality roach to the net. Devizes MG angler Paul Passmore was runner-up, with 18lb of perch, roach and a solitary slab.
