The lake was in fine form, with the top six sharing an incredible 850lb of fish. Top of the pile was Bill Pitman, who tipped 155-12-0 on to the scales. Chucking the Method feeder to the far bank of peg 19 brought carp to 8lb and a few F1s. Mark Bower fished a lot shorter, and it was a close-run result as he bagged 151-14-0 on the 5m line from peg 17 to take second spot.
