WARWICKSHIRE Avon expert Jon Stickings banked his ninth double-figure barbel of the season from the venue when he fooled this 14lb 3oz specimen.

The Warwick angler had been left frustrated on numerous occasions due to low and clear conditions, and was convinced that another blank session was on the cards.

But he set the record straight when the fish fell for his homemade boilie.
