Super-sweet Tiger Nuts

Tigers have a subtle taste that carp love, so I only add a few drops of super-sweet Tallin or Tangleberry to boost this awesome carp bait.

Salty Popcorn

Popcorn makes a small, firm bait. After cooking I add a tablespoonful of sea salt flakes and the same of sugar and soak for two hours.

Tomato-flavoured Black Eyed Beans

An old-school combination that remains highly effective. Add a small can of tomato soup to a pan full of beans and then cook as normal. The sweet aroma is a brilliant carp and tench attractor.

Chili Chick Peas

Chick peas are easy to hair rig and the ideal size for hookbaits. I boost them by adding a teaspoonful of chilli paste while soaking them.
