HUNDREDS OF FAMILIES ENJOY FISHING FUN AT BIG COUNTRYSIDE SHOWS
THOUSANDS of people had a go at fishing – many for the first time – at two of this summer’s biggest countryside shows.
The Game Fair at Ragley Hall in Warwickshire saw the Angling Trust and Get Hooked On Fishing give 700 people the chance to try coarse fishing or learn to cast a fly.
Then we upped sticks and shifted operations to Blenheim Palace near Oxford, where more than 5,000 people fished in the estate’s spectacular waterside setting.
These two events were an easy and inexpensive way for people to get together as a family, and spend quality time doing something exciting while learning great new skills outdoors.
