Targeting a stretch of the in-form River Trent, he swapped his float rod for a legering set-up with a piece of Bait-Tech’s N-Tice Polony tipped off with a grain of plastic corn. Having baited up his swim with hempseed and pellets, he latched into the fine specimen after a 15-minute wait.
