Big shark shock for float angler

A MAN hooked a huge porbeagle shark estimated at around 300lb while floatfishing for mackerel and garfish off the Guernsey coast.

In the battle close to the St Peter Port Lighthouse the huge predator thrashed around at the bottom of the steps before it made a successful lunge for freedom.
