3 SPOT YOUR QUARRY

-

TIME spent in the heat of the day spotting fish with polarised glasses is time well spent!

Where safe to do so, look over bridges and from overhanging trees to spot fish near cover. They might not come out properly until late afternoon or early evening but at least you’ll know where they are. Stay quiet and keep a low profile, and always sit slightly upstream of where you intend to cast. Don’t cast straight on top of the fish – cast slightly further over the river then let the rig swing round to them.
