CLUBS REPORTING MEGA HAULS GALORE

Up and down the country, historic weights are being recorded

IT HAS been a record-breaking week for many clubs who reported mega hauls galore.

Greenside AS’s Jordan Briant smashed the lake best at Tylers Common when he used meat on the short pole for 529-0-0 of carp.

F1s were the main target at Orchard Farm during the latest Croydon Postal AC contest. Nobby Whiting took his best ever catch and also entered the club’s history books with a 465-3-0 haul.

Last, but not least, Stephen Boyd broke the Mersey Dockers record that had stood for 10 years when he worked with pellet shallow at Mistral Lake for 135-4-0 of carp.
