Enormous Trent perch in a match

MATCH fishing on the River Trent around Burton normally involves catching dace and roach, but Steve Newns went for the perch in last week’s Coors AC festival on the river and got a real surprise in the shape of this monster 4lb 8oz specimen!

The KL Tackle-backed angler from North Yorkshire took the beast on polefished worm.
