Steve Johnson began the week in winning style as he topped the Over 50s match with a level 113-0-0 of F1s from peg 7 on the New Pool fishing maggot shallow at 6m. Johnny Merchant came in second with 88-2-0 of F1s and a few carp on paste fished on his top kit as well as down the edge of Canal Pool peg 24.
