STEVE’S FEEDING AND CASTING TIP

-

A GREAT tip when bomb fishing is one I picked up off my mate Adam Rooney, and that is to feed before casting!

I put the rod between my legs, feed some pellets and cast the bomb right on top of them. This way I know my hookbait is sitting right amid my loose feed.

It’s a simple tip, but in my experience a very effective one that makes a massive difference when fishing bomb and pellet.

If you start to get lots of line bites and the fish won’t settle, try feeding two pouchfuls of pellets and casting right into the middle of the second pouchful. Then just sit and wait. A large amount of bait going into the swim in one hit seems to settle the fish down.
