Join angling’s task force

I FULLY agree with Malcolm Evans’ comments in last week’s Angling Times letters page about the improved bailiffing system, but I think we can catch even more angling criminals.

Every angler in the country should play a part in the battle against rod licence dodgers and poachers. If you don’t have the authority to approach those that are guilty, simply call the Environment Agency hotline on 0800 807060. We shouldn’t turn a blind eye to anything suspect and simply think ‘someone else will deal with that’.

It’s up to us all to dig in and make the effort, whether or not we happen to be licensed bailiffs. Andy Chadwick, Gainsborough
