The cooler weather is beginning to knock the weights but it does make for a close finish. On Sunday a little over 10lb separated the top six. Top of the shop was Mick Higginbottom on peg 49. The Ockendon Bait & Tackle man fished pellet at 11m just off the far bank for 77-14-0 of carp to 8lb. His team mate Terry Schiniou followed with 76-12-0 of carp, again on pellet.
