His first Chew pike – 39lb!

STEVE Findlay broke his Chew Valley Reservoir pike duck with one of the biggest fish of the season from the venue.

Weighing in at 39lb, the pb was taken by the East Sussex angler on half a popped-up mackerel.

His capture takes the tally of 30lb-plus predators banked at Chew during this autumn’s trials to more than 40.
