This feature-filled water is stocked solely with carp to 18lb and is the best place to practise your feeder skills on the complex. Each of the 24 pegs has a chuck to an island and you can catch 50lb-90lb of carp on a bomb and pellet outfit or a mini Method feeder loaded with micros tight up to these features. As the water temperature cools, casting down the island shelf into deeper water is a superb tactic – especially when switching your pellet hookbait for worm or corn. Catapulting 4-5 freebies of pellets or corn over your peg every five minutes will also increase the chances of getting a bite without overfeeding. Try casting into the open water between the main island and mini islands from pegs 2, 7, 10, 17 and 20 for a better stamp of fish.
