A COUPLE of weeks ago in Angling Times I noticed that the country’s biggest carp just got bigger and has been caught again.

When it was first banked the negative reactions in some quarters were appalling. Let’s get real – it’s only fishing! It is a sport that is loved for its endless opportunities, and if someone wants to try and catch a record carp then who on earth are you to judge? Rick Evans, Waltham Abbey
