WEIGHTS were well down in the bitter wind, with just a handful of carp winning this second round for Solihull Angling’s Steve Daley.
He drew peg 42 on Lambsdown and fished feeder and bread for 42-10-0. Pete Caton was second with 34-0-0 on peg 19 on Warren Lake with carp and skimmers taken on pellet fished at 14m.
On the league front, Wayne Sharman leads on five points, with Jack Harness on seven.
