TRY THESE CASTER STICKS FOR BIG FISH

-

CASTERS are a seriously good big-fish bait, whether you are targeting carp, tench, barbel or roach. One problem, though, is feeding them accurately, but if Before feeding casters they must be completely dry. I use a piece of kitchen towel to absorb all the moisture before With completely dry hands, put two pieces of dissolvable foam in the end of a PVA stick. Gently compress the casters in the PVA mesh. Don’t burst the baits, otherwise the juice will dissolve the PVA. you think about it, they are no different to pellets and can be easily fed in a PVA stick or bag.

Here’s how I prepare my caster sticks... I start. You can also add a small amount of groundbait, as this too will soak up any residual liquid from the casters. Feed the casters into the PVA loader and then shake them down the tube. I use wide bore PVA mesh and a 4iins stick for carp and barbel. Hook the PVA stick on through the dissolvable foam.
