Roach to 2lb 4oz respond to maggot feeder or pole at 10m metres on Rib Lake, while 3lb perch are taking worms and red maggots or falling to lures.

The New Match Lake has been fishing well despite the cold conditions, and anglers have been catching plenty of carp and silverfish in bags over 40lb. Red maggot netted a 24lb bag of silvers for one angler on the Pleasure lake recently. Over on the Big Pit, perch to 3lb 6oz have been falling to anglers fishing worm and maggot in the margins. A 50lb net of carp averaging 5lb is possible on the Method feeder with maggots from the Match Lake. For a mixed net of carp averaging 10lb and silvers head to Willow Pool, where similar tactics can be used. The Small Lake is on fire at the moment and anglers are targeting the silverfish as well as plenty of carp.
