When you are us­ing top and bot­tom at­tached floats like sticks and Bo­los, al­ways try to slow the hook­bait down as this will re­sult in many more bites than just run­ning the floats through at the speed of the cur­rent. There are var­i­ous ways to do this. You can ease the float through by feed­ing the line slowly off the spool, ‘back­wind’ the rig down, or fish with a cen­tre­pin reel.
