TEN YEARS TO THE DAY, TAGGED TIGER SHARK CAUGHT A SECOND TIME
THIS 11ft shark was caught a decade to the day since it was last landed.
The colossal tiger shark was tagged and released off the coast of Texas, USA, in late 2006 when it was a juvenile less than 3ft long – then it went off the radar for 10 years.
But rumours that the predator had died were scotched when shorecaster Zach Wolk beached the giant and the tag was discovered intact.
Incredibly, Zach’s shark took the bait at a spot less than 40 miles away from where it was last let go as a pup.
