One such fishery in Shropshire has become so renowned for its perch sport it has attracted the attentions of some of the country’s top specimen anglers, all keen on landing the resident four-pounders. Woodside Fishery’s four lakes all hold carp and silvers, but when the cold weather hits it’s the perch which really come alive.
