Great weights in RiverFest warm-up

THIS warm-up for the RiverFest final produced some superb small fish weights.

Sean Ashby showed his class to win with 42-12-0 of chub and dace off peg 95 by the road bridge. The England star fished bolo rod and 7m pole to hand with maggot.

That was enough to put him just in front of Ben Roberts who, from peg 43 at Belmont, took barbel on feeder and maggot plus a few chub on long whip to hand to weigh in 40-7-0.

Sean Ashby emerged the winner with a 42-12-0 net.
