WHAT IS IT?
LAUNCHED by Oxford tackle giant Peter Drennan in 1985, the Drennan Cup is the UK’s longest-running big fish competition. It rewards anglers who target and catch specimen fish (other than carp) by design. Anglers can win multiple awards across 12 months of fishing. Current Drennan Cup champion is Staffordshire’s Dai Gribble thanks to a string of huge tench and bream.
