KID’S CATCH SHOT JOY!
ANGLING fanatic Dave Moody and his son Robert received a gift they’ll never forget when a catch picture of the youngster’s biggest-ever fish appeared on the front of a Kit Kat.
The chocolate bar was lovingly presented to the Dublin-based duo by wife and mother Elaine after she won a competition with Nestlé, the company which manufactures the popular snack.
The 6lb pike is a personal best for six year-old Robert, and was caught on a roach deadbait.
“My wife Elaine entered and somehow managed to win the competition, and the prize was to get our catch shot on the wrapper,” Dave told Angling Times. “The fish is far from being a monster, but to Robert it looked like a whale and is his biggest fish to date. I don’t think I’ll be eating the bar any time soon!”
