TRI-Cast Calder angler John Goodwin took this two-day event on the vast South Yorkshire water. His combined weight of 16-8-0 was enough to finish over 3lb in front of second-placed Andy Anderson on 13-1-0.

On day one John took 2-14-0 of small fish on the pole from peg 5, but Greg Owen won the day with 7-13-0 from peg 21.

On day two the champion drew the fancied peg 22 and fished groundbait feeder and worm for five big skimmers topped up with a couple of decent perch on the whip for 13-10-0 to seal the deal.
