Nigel Wheatcroft topped Sunday’s round as the local rod drew peg 27 and fished pellet and meat shallow and on the deck at 14m to land carp to 9lb for 84-4-0. Keith Crummey was second on 76-12-0, as he opted for the bomb with pellet and PVA bags to pick off carp to 11lb.
