Cardwell’s 240lb of carp puts him streets ahead

WITH pellet now allowed back at the fishery, venue regular Paul Cardwell used it to winning effect to take this memorial event.

He banked a massive 240-10-0 of carp to 9lb, bomb and pole at 6m from peg 114 on Campbell Lake doing the damage. Dave Hayward took second off peg 59 on the Lodge Lake. He also caught on bomb and pellet and then pellet in the margins for carp and skimmers worth 206-0-0 at the scales.
