First thirty for East Delph

A RESURGENT day-ticket venue has produced its first 30-pounder.

East Delph Lakes in Cambridgeshire was a match water with an ageing stock when former teacher James Mackay took control in 2014.

New fish have been introduced to both the Front and Back lakes at the Whittlesey venue, but it is one of the old original mirrors that has broken the 30lb barrier after a growth spurt from its match fishing days.
