What will you get if your name is drawn out of the hat? The Darkside 2 is an all-round pole for UK commercial carp waters but can turn its hand to river and canal work too.

Its ability to handle either style of fishing comes about due to the introduction of Super Vibration damping Epoxy Resin (SVER) and high-tensile carbon fibre that make the Darkside so light to handle. Throw Nanolith matrix resins into the mix and you get a light, balanced, strong and responsive long pole.

A heap of extras includes seven Darkside Power top-2 kits, six of which are slotted with a side puller system and pre-bushed so you don’t need to cut them back.

The seventh features a hollow Match tip for lighter elastics. The Power kits are rated to a No20 elastic to handle all that a commercial carp water can throw at them.
