12kg of wafters keep bites coming
REGULAR baiting helped Kia Sanger record a 10-fish haul at a picturesque Dorset venue.
The Shaftesbury angler managed a trio of 30-pounders during a 48-hour session at the Milton Abbas syndicate.
Kia targeted clear areas in the weed at the venue, which featured on Martin Bowler’s Seeking Shadows DVDs.
The two biggest fish of the trip were a mirror weighing 33lb 10oz and a common that pulled the needle of the scales round to 33lb 6oz.
Kia also bagged a 30lb 6oz mirror.
He said: “I did 48 hours on Milton Abbas, banking 10 carp.
“All fish were caught fishing clear areas amid the weed on 18mm CC Moore Pacific Tuna wafters over matching freebies.
“Regular baiting kept the bites coming, and in total I got through around 12kg of boilies.”
