River Thames, Abingdon & Culham (48 pegs)

A clear and static river badly in need of rain still saw the bream on the feed, with Sensas Reading man Mark Harrington taking a fine 510-0 of slabs to 6lb for the win. He drew the dead tree peg at Culham where he fished groundbait feeder and worm. Mark Barnett, two pegs away from the winner, also fished feeder and worm to take 36-3-0 of bream. Top Tackle took first blood on the team front as they scored 34 points, two in front of Drennan Oxford Yellow.
