Mullet record beaten twice in one week

THE British shore caught thin lipped mullet record has gone twice within a week. The latest capture, by Geoff Le Page, weighed 8lb 4oz 1dm.

It beat a record set days earlier by Tim Cotterill at 8lb 1oz 10dr. Both were caught on worm-baited spinner tactics from a mark off the east coast of Guernsey, in the Channel Islands.
