DOUBLE FIGURE BREAM

THIS 12lb 3oz bream was the biggest of four taken by Mark Doherty on a visit to a Wiltshire Lake.

The Monster Baits and Dips-backed angler fished a Method feeder with pop-up boilie hookbaits at distance, and soon found a few fish. His three other bream went 7lb 12oz, 8lb 1oz and 10lb 6oz.

TOP TIP: “Natural baits work well for bream, although at this time of year when the water is murkier, bright pop-ups and wafters usually bring a better response.”
