A DOZEN PERCH OVER 3lb

DAN Eaves and Tom Sayer spent hours finding features on Grafham Water and were eventually rewarded with 12 perch over 3lb.

The biggest, at 3lb 13oz, fell to Dan and took a fry imitation lure fished drop shot style. He said: “We had a dozen fish over 3lb and lost count on how many we caught over 2lb.”

Tom broke his pb twice, his best perch weighing 3lb 9oz.

TOP TIP: “When employing the drop shot technique try fishing it as static as possible if you’re not getting a bite, as this natural presentation can often draw a response.”
