My margin pole rig was made up of a 0.6g pole float and 0.15mm to 0.13mm, while on the two other lines I could scale down to a 0.13mm mainline. Size 16-18 fairly strong hooks are ideal for these lines.” BAITS: “Pellets form the mainstay of the attack here and I fed 6mm down the edge and at 8m out.

“On my 6m line I fed chopped worm and fished worm over the top in case the carp were wary of pellets. My feeder rig had Bait-Tech The Juice Dumbells 8mm sinkers.
