How can I join braid to mono?

ON HARD days braid shows up every little knock on the rod tip.

The only knot you’ll need to tie with braid is the one to attach a shockleader, and it will take the force and shock of a long cast with a heavy feeder. It’s used by none other than Steve Ringer, and the tying sequence is on the right.

A good shockleader mono will be 8lb-10lb Daiwa Sensor or Drennan Method Feeder Mono, while a good braid for general bream and roach fishing should be 0.10mm-0.12mm.
