£12,000 TOP PRIZE COULD BE YOURS!
First Golden Rod clash just two weeks away
FULL details of the new Colmic Golden Rod Feeder Championships have been announced, with £12,000 guaranteed to the winner following battle across 20 rounds. It kicks off at the end of this month on West Midlands water Patshull Park.
Created by Golden Reel boss Phil Briscoe, the feeder-only competition runs over the winter and sees 60 anglers divided into three 20-peg mini zones. Each winner will go through to the two-day final at Colmic/Bag‘em Baits Larford Lakes on March 17 and 18.
Depending on ticket sales, second spot will pick up £7,000, £4,000 for third and £2,000 for fourth.
“There’s a massive demand for feeder fishing in the UK, but nothing with big money in the winter, so Golden Rod will fill this,” said Phil. “I think winter lends itself to feeder fishing
and I’ve picked venues where catching roach, skimmers and bream are the key.”
Tickets are £35 per qualifier. These will go live online at www.goldenreelangling.co.uk on Friday, September 15 at 9am.
