Why? This peg is on a point, and from it you can reach a large area of open water in front as well as some lily pads to the right and the near-left margin. It always produces 50lb-plus nets of F1s and crucians in the winter. How? Start by feeding chopped worm down the near-left margin lily pads and come back to it later, as this can produce a bonus tench. Otherwise feed 4mm pellets at 11m and fish a banded 4mm offering over the top to catch F1s to 4lb and crucians. Set up a bomb rod and clip up to the far-right lily pads for a bigger fish.
