PEG 34 on Meadow produced the winner in a tight match that saw several anglers take more than 100lb to the scales.
Dynamite Maver Midlands’ Adam Rumble was the man who drew it, and he made no mistake with long pole and maggot to weigh in a
winning 116-15-0.
Fresh from his victory in the Canal Pairs Champs the previous day (see page 53) team-mate Dave Brown finished second with 110-11-0.
Unsurprisingly, given the individual result, Dynamite Maver Midlands won Sunday’s team event and they currently head the league with three points, two in front of Drennan North West.
