‘Awesome’ 46lb fish from Slovenia lake
Top carp revealed
JETHRO Buter cradles this 46lb-plus mirror in front of one of the most beautiful backdrops in European carp angling.
The Church on the Island at Slovenia’s Lake Bled provides a majestic background for this catch shot.
The specimen, which was weighed in at 21.1kg, was one of five fish in three days for Dutch angler Jethro.
The 29-year-old said: “This awesome fish was caught during a three-day session.
“I managed to catch a total of five fish. It’s a hard lake and not much was caught during the weekend.”
Jethro fed a mixture of Sticky Krill and Manilla boilies, with either a pink Krill wafter or yellow Manilla wafter over the top.
His rigs featured 25lb Ashima Excalibur hooklinks and size 4 Ashima C887 Heavy Carp hooks.
