Brace of huge perch heads up Thames haul

A LIVEBAITING session on his local stretch of the River Thames proved to be an action-packed affair for Ben Hinton when he landed no fewer than 20 big perch, including these two 3lb specimens.

The two fish, which weighed 3lb 6oz and 3lb 2oz, were taken on trotting tactics using a bleak livebait fished under a bobber float attached to 8ins of Gardner fluoro hooklink and size 6 Gardner Talon Tip hook.
