FISH A WATER THAT HAS A CLOSED SEASON

In order to protect their stocks during spawning time, many waters shut for a period in the spring or summer – just as they did in the past. This gives the fish in such venues a break from both angling pressure and anglers’ baits, making them hungrier and therefore easier to catch at the back end of the year.
