RX+ BITE ALARMS AND RECEIVER

MANY will consider the RX+ to be the pinnacle of bite alarm design.

Attributes include twin colour LEDs day or night mode, visible above the line of the rod, that can be switched to red, green, blue, orange, purple or white via a rear-fitted toggle switch.

Eight volume settings (the lowest being silent) are matched with eight tone settings, but the cherry on top has to be the alarm’s sensitivity control, which on all settings allows the line to travel a specified set distance in the same direction,

after which the alarm unit will be activated within two seconds. Any movement in the opposite direction will reset the counter distance to zero.

This substantially reduces the likelihood of false bite indication from wind or water movement.
