BIG BOOST FOR CANCER CHARITY

Tough lakes but £1,350 raied at Hayfield Lakes

NOW in its seventh year, this match raised £1,350 for the Cancer Research charity. On the fishing front, all three lakes were in use but fished hard after a cold night.

Overall winner, and with top weight on the Little Adam’s

Lake, was Steve Clegg, who took 59-9-0 of carp on soft pellet fished at 14m.

Dave Wright topped Big Adam’s with 42-3-0 of carp on bomb and long pole with pellet.

Dene Richmond took the Island Lake honours with 37-0-0 of carp on bomb and long pole and pellet plus pellet in the edge.

A big thank you was given to match organiser Wayne Westmorland and all the sponsors that included Maver Hayfield Lakes, Bob-Co, J T Rogers, Martin Holmes, Marukyu and DHL, plus many others.
